Cleaning your cellphone

Thoroughly wash your hands first before you wash your phone. 

  1. Unplug the device before cleaning.
  2. Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with soap and water.
  3. Don't spray cleaners directly onto the device.
  4. Avoid aerosol sprays and cleaning solutions that contain bleach or abrasives.

Do not soak your phone or case in cleaner and make sure you check the cleaners first before using them! 
Do not use rubbing alcohol, or hand sanitizer on your phone screen. ​

Laptops 

Stay with us here, the first step to cleaning your laptop is to give it a gentle shake. This gets rid of loose dust and dirt (and crumbs!) that have accumulated. Next, if you have compressed air, use that to clear out the keyboard keys and ports. If you don't have any, try using a Q-tip to gently clear out ports and any sticky keys. 

For normal non-touch screens, use a damp microfiber cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. 
For touch screens, use water or eyeglass cleaner to clean away any smudges.
Do not spray any cleaning solutions directly on your laptop; instead, spray it onto the cloth first.
